Subject: Re: Grossman's Book (The Electronic Republic)

        I read something by Mr Grossman in the August 29 issue of USA
today with almost the exact focus. He mentioned his book in a footnote at
the end.
        I would suggest from what I read that people just save their
money. Mr Grossman dwelt entirely too much for my tastes on the subject
of how stupid and irresponsible the people are and how mechanisms must
be constructed to prevent the "rabble" or "mob" from screwing up our
wonderfully functioning republic.
        I wanted to puke.
        But obviously he is a significant player. Your post here is well
taken by myself at least.
